ok still i hVE Hd no help for this, i have A 85 E with the square c101. i have figured out everything except for the fucking fuel pump. green violet to green violet i get, but on the i cars you guys are running your speed input black white pin 14 (e36) through your c101 connector. this wire i believe gives you your cranking signal. am i correct on this. on the e cars the speed input wire AND CRANKING SIGNAL CAME OFF THE FLY WHEEL IN THE BELL HOUSING ON THE M20. caps lock sorry. and also the e cars fuel pump only engages when the car is cranking thus i have to have a cranking signal. ive tried connecting the black white to the black c104 wire, tried connecting it to the back of the instrument cluster into the green plug , ive also tried connecting it to a two pin connector red brown and blue yellow. as any body done a swap into a e car with the square plug before on this site?????? please help me the car cranks over but no fuel....... also can a chip be installed upside down in the dme. i took my dinan chip out just to see if it could plug in if i flipped it and it can .

Please post your wiring diagram. I need to see what E30 pins you have associated with E36 pins (I hope you have determined wire color and function for each pin). -

does any body know what the dme all controls does it control when the fuel pump comes on? or am i correct in thinking that i gave to hook up a wire that will power up the relay on the fuel pump. or how does the fuel pump know when to come on and go off. ive been told that is handled by the speed input wire but why and where the hell does that tie into on my car,i have studied wedophone for hours but yet i can still not figure this out.
c104 plug under glove box get
pin 20 black tach signa
green red wire on c104 side gets power from main green wire.
and yellow white is supposedly the fuel consumption gauge.
i have also found that pin 14 x20 is the speed input wire, i do not knowwhere this wire connects to on my car,and i believe this is the cranking signal wire also that lets the fuel pump know that the car is cranking and the trip the relay. let me know if i am wrong.

this is my c104 connector after i have been connecing and disconnecting wires

left over connector that i believe connected to the pick up signal off of the fly wheel when the m20 was in ,remember the pick ups for a e car come off of the fly wheel. i have also tried sticking my black white pin 14 x20 wire into both of these wires to see if they would show the fuel pump that the engine is spinning.this 2 pin connector brown red/blu yellow go to the junction fuse box. also the blck white wire is pin 14 speed input that is connected to a brown wire , this brown wire is just and extender so i can stick the black white wire pin 14 into different spots to see if i could get the fuel pump to come on.

Where did you get that copy of the wiring diagram? Precision Performance Services hasn't sold an M50/E30 swap kit to anyone in Lewisville.
