getrag 260 mount combo

What mounts are people using to run the 260 without a custom brace? I keep searching and I keep hearing of people doing it but I cant get a straight answer. There's another thread that says to use an e24 tranny and any 1 inch mount but the dealer has two part numbers for the manual mount, and I have no idea which bmw's have 1 inch mounts.

Any help would be great

ok... well the only info on e30tech i can find says to use e21 mounts, but that cant be right. You need two different sizes to allow for the angle. If you know any better can you provide a link?

that's the most shitty answer ive ever heard....... 23711175732 what i got from real oem, bmaparts.com also sells the mount, and for the other mount supposedly youre supposed to use the right side mount from a 325 automatic. I tried going this route before and i was not happy, the mount ended up failing me. So i went ahead and got a sustom bracket made by Dougsic, good quality stuff

ok thanks, I figured it would be kinda half-assed and ghetto. I just want to get the damn thing driving and then I'll come up with a real solution.

FYI tree house racing makes a pretty nice custom brace for this, its $150. I might go this route..

yeah i looked that PN up on bma, thats the one i have. the other side is the e30 auto tranny mount.
