S50B32 Swap in 1988 Wiring HELP

Ok so here is what happened the car was running a few days about (about 10) We cut the floor out and welded in a new one and installed tilton floor mount pedals. (with the battery disconnected) re connected the battery and went to start the engine and the EWS clicks and lets the starter turn the engine over. but none of the 3 main relays in the engine harness click at all. The ECU is grounded and the main engine relay doesn't seem to be getting switched ground.

    ANY HELP ???

you could have burned alot of electronics with a welder if you didnt properly ground the welder. it wouldn't even matter if the battery was disconnected there are still ground points on the body that the engine is connected to. are you sure you reconnected the battery all the way, i have seen it do something similar with a bad connection.

hey frank. i had a fuel pump relay go out on my euro motor just a day after i got it running. check the relays. some of them are small funny looking relays, but the dealer will have them for the e39's....same ones. the small relays are not as robust with amps as the e30/e36 relays are.

give me a call again. i tried to return your call, but i lost the number and my phone says "anonymous" so i couldnt return the call.

      cheers, jason
