Why don't we do a Parts summary of how each members running/ driving swap car is with parts # and or source of parts to get rid of some confusion.

I'm sure there will still be some. But it might help.

The parts that people use are too common, there would be a few differences like exhaust, motor mounts, shimming or no, brake booster/MC/reservoir, transmissions and obviously the motor you use for the swap. all of it has been covered so they should just use the search function.

Yeah and every swap turns out just a little bit different. Some people use shims, other don't. Some people have to shave the fins on the intake manifold, others don't. Same with practically everything else. Even the simple stuff like motor mounts has lots of variance.

In the end all you're doing is tossing an e36 motor in the car with some E28 mounts, and an E21 brake booster(or whatever else you feel like). It's a pretty simple swap.
