    IX booster Bolt Pattern different??

so im tryn to get my IX booster in so i can drop my s50 into the car, BUT 1. there are only 2 mounting bolts, and 2. they are too narrow to fit onto my stock mouting location, and sit at a "/" pattern.

the booster is supposedly from an IX, PN#34331158112 Girling. tryn to get it into my 88 325is. any1 have usefull info for me? i searched, cant find any1 with this problem, thinking maybe i have the wrong part? it looks like an IX booster, double stacked design.

There's a coupler between the booster and the firewall.

aha...yeah, i kinda assumed this was the issue, time to redrill the firewall, using that coupler piece defeats the purpose of running this booster no? i want it as snug back there as possible. i suppose cutting new holes in firewall and shortening the push rod is in my near future...

eh, i already drilled out the firewall mounting points and shortened the rod. it sits nice and tite back there, just barely touches the fins on the intake manifold.

^^ you know i considered doing that to not having to relocate the brake resevoir, but the fact that i was not well informed at the time kept me from doing something i thought was stupid at the time.

Shoot a pic sometime. i hate how my resevoir sits, my whole engine bay and interior are clean as **** but the resevoir just makes everything look so cramped and out of place.

Got a pic of the setup you don't like? I've been contemplating making some 2002 reservior brackets like I run.
