    Difference in 405 & 403 ecu for m50?

    My e34's dme was bad. I was able to get a 403, but it came with a 405. 403 seems to be straight, any difference?

      I believe the nonVanos 402 , 403 and 405 are all interchangeable .

          I thought so as it came out of and went into non vanos. 92 325i to 92 525i
