    S52 engine rebuild

I am getting ready to place an order for my s52 engine rebuild. I know that I am missing piston rings and rod bearings but besides that does anyone see anything that I am missing ? Thanks Brian

How complete of a rebuild is this?

    Headgasket set?

The crank seal gasket comes in the block set.

Hey man-are you doing a full rebuild-including machining the block, doing a head job, etc? or are you just replacing all the rings, seals, etc.

If you truly want to be thorough, drop your head off at a machine shop, get it pressure tested, check guides for play, get seats recut.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

If you're talking thorough, screw checking guides, replace them bitches.

freeze plugs, front and rear main seals, intake gaskets, exhaust gaskets, assembly lube, hot tank your block, and check your head at a machine shop.
