    IX push rod removal?

    can the push rod be removed from the IX booster?? i didnt shorted mine enough, and removing the booster from firewall is not really an option at this point.

      I think the pushrod is attached to the diaphram, in which case, no.
      Do you still have your original booster? Can you check that one?

            is the brake pushrod supposed to top out at the brake light button on the pedal side? or is it supposed to be just shy?

            mine is like 1/4" off the button bracket, but when i put the button in, it sits right on it.



            obviously, i know it's supposed to fully depress the button, otherwise you drive around with your friggen brake lights on.
