    who has what diff?

    Hey Guys,

Interested in seeing what everyone is running for a rear diff in their swapped cars and what they think of them, what would you suggest, ect.

just trying to see what's fun to drive and how the gas mileage is. what the highway vs. country road driving is like.

obviously it matters on the tranny you're using. So, let us know:

I'm (will be) running: 3.73lsd with e36 getrag

    S50 with E30 260 trans and a 3.73 LSD. I think it's perfect.

        I ran a e46 trans/e30 m20 with a 373 diff and it was really bad, 70 mph was at 5500 rpm.

            s52 / e36 trans I started with a 3:25 it's a perfect gear for a daily driver. I swapped to a 3:46 and holy sh@t is it fun but highway's get old .

This is my favorite ratio! It is a blast with the euro S50 and the rev happy nature of the engine.

                      S50 with Getrag 260 and 4:10 LSD

I left the 4:10 in that I was running with the M20. It needs the 3:73 LSD that I have sitting in my garage that I'm too lazy to change.

Maybe this post will motivate me.

What don't you like about the G260/4.10 combo?

I am running a 4.10, which sucks on the highway. But if you do the math a 4.10 should come out to exactly the same gear advantage over a 3.73 as the s50 horsepower advantage over an m50.
