    M50 header plate

Hey Guys... I am working on my turbo car and I need to know where you all get your header plates from to make your custom headers. I have put in a call to SFR and spoken with Tim and he can get me one but it will be probably over 200 maybe even 250! Can anyone point me in a direction that is a little more reasonable???? TIA!

Contact 666 fabrication, he might be able to help/point you in the right direction

Yeah, his website says he's not taking orders until February...I guess he's really busy. Maybe try places like TCD, Active Autowerks, Tecnique Tuning, and Horsepower Freaks. One of thoses places has to be able to point you in the right direction.

Man I appreciate the help... this is a PITA TCD (local relatively to me) I know only has cast manifolds, so I didn't even bother there. Same with Technique. Active Autowerks... Can't seem to find them online??? Horsepower freaks a sales guy there directed me to Boost logic... he used to make them, but can't do it unless there is a sum of like 20 or so! Back to where I started from!!! This sux!

Hmm I'm running out of ideas, maybe try ssautochrome.com...not the best quality but for just the backplate I don't see it being an issue. Also, go on to bimmerforums and make a post in the forced induction Forum. They have alot of knowledge, especially on E36s and M/S50 motors.

These guys @ http://www.bmcrace.com can do M50 flanges. They made one for me and it's really nice laser cut and thick, I think they sell an off the shelf M42 flange, which they can just add 2 more cylinder to in the CNC program and cut her out.

We'll have some shortly. Should be a lot more reasonable than $250. I think the last S38 ones we had cut were $150 or so... :)

Send me a PM if you want an update when they're in stock. We'll have individual cylinders and the whole head flange.
