    Conversion to non-power brakes?

I see a lot of engineering go into different brake boosters, remote linkage, etc.

I'm not an expert mechanic, so forgive my ignorance:

On a car as light as an E30, wouldn't it be fairly simple to source an aftermarket/racing manual master cylinder and run the brakes without boost? It seems like that would really simplify the swap design, especially with a vee engine.

Do I LOOK like I need a psychological evaluation???

Indeed. Its something I (and I presume most) would love to do.
However, my booster cost $150. New.
If there's a system out there that can do away with boost for aroud that price, please let me know.

What "vee" engine are you talking about?

I have non boosted brakes. I don't mind them at all (track car, not a street car). My friends say they take a bit of getting used to....as does the manual steering.

You could have at least said a Lexus engine, and we might have forgiven...

Those LSx's are lighter, more powerful, and cheaper than a Euro S50. Have you seen that Jagermeister project car - unbelievable!

I'll have to work hard to get back in your good graces. ;)

Look into old VW master cylinders if you want to just run the stock style master. They come in all kinds of sizes. i was looking at 19 and 21mm's. Theyre around $60 new lol. they also have the same port set up as the stock master too!
