Wondering about used Knock Sensors for my OBD1 conversion. Is this a place to save a few bucks or should I just buy new. Appears the sensor housings have a habit of cracking. If crack free should they be good to go? Thanks for any input....

i was contemplating about this as well (cause they are spendy), but decided to just go new. If you're fine with taking off the mani again you can try your chances with used, but you never know if used ones will actually protect your engine (i.e detect knock) in case of knock condition even if they won't cause an engine light during the 3krpm sensor-test.
