    kill story w/ the swap mobile

    took an '06 gto yesterday, 3 times!!! first 2 were from a dead stop AND I WAS ABLE TO GET MY WHOLE HOOD AHEAD OF HIM UP TO ABOUT 60, and the last one i destroyed him in a 35 mph roll in 2nd...ahh gotta love the VANOS! the old guy in the car was so agitated. he was like "what the hell u got in there???!!!" i simply told him it was a secret, down shifted and blew by him :woowoo:

                      3.5" hfm, 24# injectors, obd1 manifold, short ram intake w/ shield, and 3" exhaust (which is robbing me of a lil torque), 3.25 lsd (i wish i would've gone 3.46)

                          Good to know where I'll stand. Do you feel the 24#er's are overkill, I have heard 21.5#er's are plenty. What do you say?

                              My excuse is this quote in the manual: "occasionally let your car take a DEEP breath, As to discourage carbon buildup that can affect performance" At least i think thats how it goes......

                                  i guess i could've waited on them for when i get cams, but i found a set of refurbished ones for $90 and couldn't pass them up

                                          i have the same driveline and also raced a gto. the outcome was the same as yours. bfc called the bs flag but whatever. good to hear it from another person.

                                                          gotta love the swaps. 3.46 would have made the kill night and day, especially if you have a ltw flywheel. My car snaps through the first 3 gears, it's kind of ridiculous
