m3 ecu over 413 ?

will a 4-95 3.0 5SPD RWD ABS m3 ecu fit my m50 harness ? what kind of gains or improvements would it have over a regular m50 ecu ?
i can get the m3 ecu for 50 bucks more then the regular m50 ecu so if it will give me any gains ill buy it instead.

Its the same. Only the chip is different, and the M3 chip won't do an M50 any good.

i thought maybe it had higher rpms and the top speed governor raised or something along those lines.

lol, if I find a S50 for that much I'll sell my M50 and buy it. Seriously though man, save up some money and get some S50 cams and 21.5 injectors with a real chip tuned for the 2.5l. Don't try to get horsepower cheap, it doesn't work out most of the time....

that being said, my turbo should be here this week :p

i do everything cheap but it always works out nicely. if i find another 24v motor ill buy another e30 to swap it into. right now i wanna see how much hp i can get out of this m50, cuz everyone downs them. once the motor is all in and everything ill be doing the cams, injectors, ecu and that shibang, then whenever i feel like it it'll go FI.
