coolant hoses to heater core: which way?

I searched and think I found my answer, but I just want someone to confirm it for me before I go tearing my intake off
The coolant hose off the back of the head goes to the bottom pipe on the firewall
The coolant hose off the spider hose goes to the top pipe on the firewall
Can someone confirm this for me? I think I have them hooked up wrong.
    Thanks.

    Yes U got it Correct!

The coolant hose off the back of the head goes to the bottom pipe on the firewall
The coolant hose off the spider hose goes to the top pipe on the firewall

Just make sure u bleed the system properly.

only if i have the hose clamps oriented so i can unscrew them from underneath. we'll see.....

if its reverse, it will blow hot for a few days or maybe hours and then it will be back to dead cold.

would the system be unable to circulate properly though? also on my s50 with remote reservoir isnt the system supposed to be self-bleeding? it wouldnt be able to do this if its not circulating rite? hmm i never used my heater yet.

ur coolant system should circulate fine.
but u wont get any heat. as u have notice.

Remote Reservoir doesn't not self bleed that why late model m20 got that Bleader screw on top of the t-stat housing. reving the engine with the reservoir cap off should help bleed the system.it should get rid of 90% of the bubbles.

Another trick is to pour coolant in the top rad hose whiles the car its runnin when u see it coming from the rad, u plug in to rad. that is the most effective way to bleed the system.
