    My adapter only works for adding an aftermarket temp gauge. If you want the stock one to work, the only real option is drilling and tapping the head.

      wait, isn't the thread on where the TB nipple is screwed in M12x1.5? = same as on the stock sensors?

        I believe the temp sender for the e30 dash (and the e36 dash) is M14. The e36 ECU temp senders have M12 threads.

              Don't forget to plug your spiderhose though. I plugged it with an aftermarket temp sender so I can run a signal to a proper sensitive gauge.

                just wanted to post pics of my ghetto diy block-off plate (cost: $5 alu plate, 3hrs of elbow grease. I'd just buy one made by professionals for $25 if i'd do it again)
                Notice the drill marks across the edge = lack of proper tools FTL

                    Do you have any pics of how you re-routed the spider hose?

                    I'm actually thinking about eliminating the TB heater hoses to clean things up a bit.

                      Hell, I'll sell you a laser cut one for $20... They're pretty too. :D

                      But yeah, I have these in stock now. I had forgotten about this thread.
