    non-vanos cams in m52 head

    I have a high millage m50 non-vanos head on my car right now which I think might be warped. I would like to swap it out for my m52 head that I have laying around but do not want to change all of the wiring and electronics on my car. Is there any reason why I can't put my non-vanos cams in the m52 head?

      Im assuming, they wont fit. You cant put vanos (s50) cams in a non vanos head so im guessing they wont go the other way either.

          Yea, you can. Just swap the cam trays, cam gears, and the front cam cover.
