    S52 Odb1?

I know this has probably been answered, but my search was not coming up with it very fast. Do you have to convert S52 to ODB1 or can you install it with ODB2 with a TMS chip to delete EWS, etc? I was just planning on parts, etc and did not know if this was a must or will it work ok with staying ODB2?

    thanks!

    No.

There is no chip in OBDII.

The search function of the forum works very well. Use it.

          you can do
obd1 with 413 red label = no sweat
obd1 with EWS + TMS ews delete = home free
          OR
OBDII w/ ews + my thread = homerun.

the only reason to stay obdii is because you have access to all of the ews stuff from a donor car and because you'd rather not spend another $1000 and tens of hours on obdi conversion parts.

....but i'm guessing that you haven't yet made a desicion and are just window shopping at the moment so search is adviced
