    OBC starter kill

I downloaded an "instruction manual" for the E30 OBC. Sort of a functions and settings guide. I didn't know it featured a starter kill/immoblilzer function. Does this work on our swap cars? I assume it isolates the starter relay circuit or does it kill the ignition signal?

    TIA,

    Yes, it works.
I found out the hard way when the immobilizer relay burned it's traces and had to change it out. I also lost an AutoX day due to it.

ninja edit: The green wire that powers, well everything, in the C101 gets power from the relay under the dash. The relay is controlled by the OBC. The power that goes through it, from the ignition to the C101, is cut when the "Code" function on the OBC is activated.

Does it have be in place for all the circuits to operate properly? I removed mine while doing the S52 swap, didn't use it anyway. Wondering if it has anything to do with my current problem with fuel pump relay...

Take a look at the wiring diagrams for the OBC. You'll see it instantly.
