I've done a lot of searching but haven't found the right answer. I've got an m52 from a 98 e36 328i (OBD1 swapped), and a 260 from an e30. Can I use the m20 flywheel? I'm guessing I'll need M20/260 clutch (upgraded), PP, pilot bearing and TO bearings. Can anyone confirm?
M52 + 260, can I use an m20 flywheel/bits?

I just got a 15lb single-mass 323i flywheel that I'm putting on for the tranny swap, and i wanted to know if I could keep it when I put in the m52. Your clutch seemed to hold up just fine, so I'll probably look for something like that or just an upgraded/tougher m20 clutch.Comment

No you absolutely can not use the 260 flywheel.

Also you typically have to shave the back of the flywheel down as well.:: PNW Crew ::
