Gas Mileage Question/Survey

im referring to ppl who quoted their mileage at above 30mpg after doing 24v swap, who im assuming read their mileage off the OBC which is never correct to begin with...sarcasm

FWIW - my obc, with a mark d chip, and 95 m3 injectors (have yet to put my m30 afm on yet), read within one MPG of my actual mileage actually underestimating by one on both fill ups coming back form Bfest. Of course this is after converting it from *L/100KM since the button to change it seems to be broken on mine, but ehh..

17 if I am lucky. average 240 a tank. Thats mixed. I don't take it on the highway much so I don't know what it gets on pure highway.

I just installed a new E36 O2 sensor. I was running the M20 O2 sensor over the last year. I recently took the car to get smogged and it didn't pass. With the correct O2 sensor and new plugs the car runs awesome and passed smog.

I drove thru 1/2 tank getting my cat hot prior to the smog inspection. I kept the car at 4k rpm for about one hour prior to the smog test. The remaing 1/2 tank was city driving with my foot in it. I got 18mpg on that tank.

I just topped off my tank (5 gallons) city driving with my foot in it and got 24mpg.

I assume it would do a little better on the highway. I have a 3:73 lsd going into the car very soon.
