If you have the space to park a wreck, if you have neighbors/HomeOwnersAssociation that doesnt mind you slowly parting out a car in your driveway, if you have copious amounts of time to take everything apart, pack it up and go to the post office every other day, if you have enormous amounts of patience to deal with teenagers haggling you on 5$ parts... then yes, its worth it.
Motorswaps.. wtf m8?

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man. -
Hmmm... I am going to be starting my swap soon, I have started collecting parts already. I'm excited...I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.

Don't get down on the swap. It will definitely be worth it. I can't even count how much time and money I have in my car and the engine hasn't even gotten into the engine bay yet. Although, I replaced a few rusty panels and I am painting the whole car while it's ripped apart. I also have replaced every piece of suspension so far. I haven't started the 5-lug swap or bought wheels yet. But every time I look at pics of the swap, I just more and more excited for it to get done. Hang in there.

These things suck money like a Rodeo Dr. prostitute.
You better come with the scrilla and freshen up a used motor with some key maint or pay the cost later. I love how poeple bitch " Ohnoes my blower motor went out WTF?!!?" well a bright bulb would have replaced that and the wiper motor on a 23 yo car before they put a 24v engine in that is tighter than a Chinese virgin. FUCK
Reap what you sow/ Get what you pay for. You can do a good basic swap for $4K.:nice:Originally posted by 325Projectzdon't listen to the diagram... listen to mr. swiss.Comment

I had purchased the m3 myself, only thing my parents did was pay for the cars insurance, and i am thankful that they did so.
Yes, i WRECKED my m3.. I'm young, was very irresponsible, and I decided to go to a very dangerous twisty road at night, which was known for having lots of deers.
I get harassed thread by thread about me wrecking my car, and on top of that, because I am young.. you say my "mommy and daddy" purchased the car for me. Yes, I am young. NO they didn't buy the car. YES i wrecked it. If you want to keep on giving me shit for wrecking my car go for it, but it gets old.. this isn't meant to be a personal attack towards you, but it really is getting old... I mean.. I'm sure lots of people here have driven irresponsibly or did something they regret while driving, or put their lives or others at risk while they where behind the wheel. Do I regret what I did? Not at all, but did I learn from my mistake? YES.
