Misc engine swap parts... is there a one stop shop?

Im going to be undergoing an engine build in the near future...Just found the head and block i want to use.

But All the little accessories and everything i don't have.

As it sits i'll have a Shortblock and a Head. THats it.

For those of you who havent bought an entire lump where did you find all the little bits and pieces, and is there a list somewhere of all that i would need?

I thought about just purchasing a junk motor to pull everything off of and then part out. I might end up having to do that. But if theres a good source for everything it would be nice to have fresh hoses, sensors, all that jazz.

Thanks in advance, i know this is probably a wierd question.

Just get yourself a high-mile or junker engine and pull off all the parts. If you only have the head and block, you're missing a ton of brackets, bolts, pulleys, accesories (ps, ac, alt, etc). All this stuff will cost you $$ and tons of time to find.
    Good luck!
    What engine are you using?

Zionsville, AKG & Treehouse will be more than happy to take your money in exchange for all the parts you need.

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.

+1...I bought a POS M50B20 from an E34 and it's been a very useful source of bits and pieces that'd otherwise be a PITA. I'm definitely ahead for having bought it.

what hes saying is...if you dont wont to waste TIME, and have money to blow to get it done by yourself, in less than 2 years. those places is the smart way to do it.

my only suggestion, buy the AKG plug adaptor for half the cost of the treehouse racing one.
