Hi
i've had some annoying problems with the booster vacuum inlet:
first of all, the inlet is positioned very inconveniently and my L-shaped pipe does not enter the inlet all the way as the strut column brace is on its way, so i get bad vacuum leak.
I was wondering whether it'd be possible/easy to plug the existing inlet on the booster and just drill another hole at a better location(and maybe even weld up a proper nipple as opposed to retarded hole+grommet original design)
Secondly, this grommet is torn bad on my booster, i looked for the part number for it on realoem but couldn't find. Anyone has it? Guess i can just call and bug BMW, but anyone knows if there is a grommet from like honda that would fit there? (i anticipate this grommet will be at least $10 from stealership)
