    Oil pan baffling

Has anyone added their own baffling to their car? My lifters get pretty noisy when autoxing, especially after this weekend, when we co-drove it. Ive tried overfilling it a half quart, switched to 10w-30 from 15w-50 trying to curb this.

how would 10w-30 help with oil sloshing over 15w-50 ?

i'd love to hear about people baffling their e34 oilpans

I put mine in my pan before bolting it to the motor. I just put a piece about 1.5" long across the passenger side of the pan. Simple, and effective against the oil going up the side of the block. I haven't had any lifter tick from the 3 or 4 AutoX's I've done.

Not so much to help with the oil sloshing, but to help it get back into the lifters faster. I have a spare pan at work and some turner e36 baffles floating around. Im going to see what i can do wif 'em.

I used the e36 baffling that was bolted to the motor I had to bend one corner about 5-10mm, I cut the e34 baffling out.

You're talking about the windage tray. The others are talking about something else.

I talked to turner today, they dont make anything off the shelf, they have done a few one-offs. Ill probably be doing the same whenever i get the time.
