    m50 got wet

I have a friend with a M50 swap the car was driven through a large amount or water then about 5 more miles after he turned it off it wont start again. Anyone have any suggestions on where he could look or what he could try doing?

    Thanks again

    hey frank.

if he does not have the plastic coil cover (valve cover hider), he might have got water into the spark plug recesses. pull coils, straw taped on end of shop vac (to get water out so it doesnt go into combustion chamber) pull plugs, wipe dry. seen it twice. cheers, jason
