Purchased E36 cats - interested to know how these flow

I purchased these brand new because I was tired of searching for them used. The price was pretty good too.

I noticed that the downpipe merges and then splits again and then further down stream it has an H-pipe on it.

They look pretty good but I'm curious to know what you guys have to say about it.
