    starter bracket? i dont remember having a bracket for the starter, i just remember the two nut and bolts that held it onto the tranny

      Hmm, I take it you haven't had any issues with just the two bolts - I was wondering if the bracket was really necessary...

        nope, no problem whatsoever, i put some loctite on it and it never budged

          Thanks, I'll give it a shot. Now I just need to figure out why the new 3-wire starter doesn't work... :-?
