    ZF Transmission Mounting options

My motor will be back from the machine shop soon, so I really need to kick ordering parts into high gear. Just 2 things im not sure on, and believe me I've searched this a lot.

My motor is an M52, i know i need the oil pan out of an m50 525i along with dip stick and oil level sender, but what about the oil pick up? From what I can see the oil pick up a lot different, goes to the front of engine on 3 series and stays at the back on 5 series correct? I haven't got my pan yet so I'd like to know before i purchase anything.

Second, E21 tranny mounts, does any one know a good site where I can get urethane versions, or conversly, do the one made by IE fit with the m50/2 ZF 5 spd swaps

    Thanks for your help

Pick up tubes are reversed from what you said. You need the pickup tube from the 5 series.

No clue. I'm using a G260 with a cross member I made from 1.5" flat steel.

I just used e21 mounts from bavauto.com they were designed to hold the tranny in the e21 with only one so they are pretty rugged.
