Was there an OBD1 version of M52 in US

I was browsing through realoem and noticed a 328 coupe with M52 listed for 05/94 and 06/94. Were these OBD1 or OBD2 ?

No there wasn't, All M52's were OBD2 in the US. However the early m52s still had the hole in the head for the 2 - temp sensor thingy like the OBD1 m50/s50s.

Yeah, I think the whole point of the M52 family was to shut the US up with their new OBD2 standard and maintain the same power. So they just threw on the extra emissions shit and jacked up the displacement (2.5 to 2.8 and 3.0 to 3.2).
