e34 manifolds and downpipe?

Can I use the e34 manifolds and e34 downpipe? I am debating using this or going with a set of the ebay headers. This is a DD and I do not want it to be loud and raspy. I have a 2002 with a m42 that is loud and raspy, which is cool. But not on both cars.

I am installing a m50 into a 318is.

Nope, IIRC e36 manifolds only, and OBD I & II work.
