Show your mufflers

I got my car back today from MBS in Pasadena,MD. Its a little loud for my liking but i am going to give it some time..

2.5" SS
300 cell cat
magnapack resonator
magnaflow 18" muffler

It's loud because of the Magnaflow at the end. If you ran a Borla it would clean up the exhaust note and quieten it down. Or, you could put a second muffler in the middle instead of the resonator. That resonator isn't doing much for you as far as noise level.

I'll be doing the SS rep headers into a 2.5" single into a 18" x 8" oval Thermal Research and Development muffler.

That's gonna be loud as fuck!

I got Ebay headers, to a dual in dual out race cat, to a dual in dual out magnaflow 14385 muffler. Little raspy with no resonators.

It's the Ebay headers that's making it raspy. A Borla or Vibrant muffler would clean up the note quite a bit. The Magnaflow has a raspy sound to it because of the packing inside of it. Borla/Vibrant > Magnaflow any day!:woowoo:

Old setup: Ebay headers > y-pipe > 3" piping > Accelerator 26" truck series muffler > 3" piping > Vibrant Street Power Turbo muffler

Yes but it is specifically in the 24v DOCH SWAP section. That means we want to see swap exhaust set-ups. It's ok though, we'll let you slide this time.

Ya think? I had a Thermal muffler on my Z31 back in the day and it wasn't too loud. I'll also be filling in the exhaust cutout on my RS-1 rear bumper and running a turn down.

Seeing no exhaust from the rear for the muthafucking win!

If it's too bad I may add a small muffler in the middle like you did. At this point I'm just trying to get the car on the fucking road already!
