They sell those vibrant mufflers at verociousmotorsports.com

I have 3" turbo back with a gutted cat and an aero muffler from the same place. And a magnaflow muffler in the mid pipe which is proving to be quite low haha

Yup that's where I got my cat and muffler. IMO they sound the best on e36 motors, especially for the $.

These mufflers are pure sex: (I'm using the 3" w/ dual 3.5" round cut tips)

My exhaust has been held in place by 3 coat hangers for about 5 months now with one worn out donut in the rear. Passed the state visual safety inspection too.

In a perfect world where I have more time, I would use the stock brackets re-welded in the proper position.

why doesnt anyone do dual exhaust all the way back? it seems like it would flow much better than a y-pipe to 2.5" or 3" single.. i too used 2.5" but only because i have a 318is body with the single cutout on my rear valence. i think it would sound cleaner with true duals

Maybe cause it costs more moneys and causes more problems yo.

However, I agree that it would sound cleaner, especially with and X pipe.

dual exhaust creates more backpressure then a single exhaust of the same crosssectional area. More surface area of the same area.

My plan is dual 2.25's with an x-pipe and a dual in/out B&B muffler.

I'm dropping her off at the exhaust shop next week.

I'll post a vid once its finished.

Really I don't care much about sound... I am planning on running an ecut out. So which exhaust is quieter?
