For those who made their own adapters

Hi,

I just can't make myself spend $400 on a THR adapter, and since I've done more complicated things with a soldering gun I figured this can't be that bad as long as I find the right plugs to order.

So, search found this thread

Is that still accurate and confirmed as correct part numbers? Normally realoem is ok, but you never know.

Just go to the pick n pull and cut one off.
Then all you need are the pins.

I used the akg for 200 and it worked perfect.

Well, I still have the e30 m20b25 harness that I can cut the male end off, so I'll need the female end for the e36 harness still. I figure $50 > $200 or 400.

actually 50<200<400 but I know what you mean.

If you want to buy a chopped e36 junkyard end I've got one for $25 bones.
