e30 diff into e36?

Ive got a 3.73 diff for sale and a guy wants to buy it for his 95 e36 m3.... Im not sure if it will work does anyone know?

my diff is a 4 bolt driveshaft flange but im not sure if the e36m3 has the same ear cover location and the same wheel shaft inputs... any helP?
