I have been doing my research on this swap and am wondering if anyone has a good idea of places to buy a S5x engine for the swap into an e30? I know that there are a few on ebay, but I am not sure if I trust the sellers on there. Ultimately I would love to get a crashed m3 but not sure of a good place to find that. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I got mine from a guy named Paul. Runs a little shop out near me in Pottstown, Pa. Usually has a good inventory of BMW's he is parting. Moonlitemotorwerks.com

Guys are always smashing up e36 m3s on bimmerforums. You can probly pick up a whole car on there.

+1 for bf.c kids dorifting their M3's into solid objects. That's where I'd look if I couldnt order through work. I get all of my stuff from Chris Imports, which is a NC based branch of Strictly German down at Road Atlanta. They've got all kinds of M3 stuff.Comment
