    Wanted: M52 or S50

    Hey guys,
    I know I posted this in the "Wanted" Section also, but hopefully I won't get in trouble for putting it here. Im looking for a project engine that I can bluild while I DD my car.
    Let me know if ou hear of any or have any engines for sale.

      Yea but i trust acutally car people more....

      Im hoping to just find an M52 with a blown head gasket for cheap or something :/

        Hey do you definitely want an M52[B28] or S50[B32]? We have a couple NV M50's and an M50B25 w/vanos at work. We have an all aluminum block M52B28TU (dual vanos) with a fresh head (some guy missed a shift at the track and smacked valves, no O-heat). We also have a few V8's that would sit nicely in your engine bay :).

        We've also got S50 and S52 engine components ie. cranks, rods, pistons, etc. if you want to build up an M50.

        Anyway, we are in Matthews, if you are looking for anything just let me know.

          Ahh sounds like you have everything except what im looking for.
          This engine will see FI and I have an M52 right now . I just want another engine to build up while I daily drive the car.
          The M52TU looks tempting, but Im going to need to sleeve it for boost :/.

            you just missed this one, in your own state too. bfc is your best bet imo.

            As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
            You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

                Been a number of years, but I am pretty sure the aluminum M52TUs from the Z3s were sleeved from the factory.
