M50 electrical

[Hartge H26]

I have a 94 M50 vanos in my 87 E30, and have a short somewhere on fuse 21 and 28. Here's the issues I am having with the car that may help:


fuel consumption does not work on tach
fuel consumption on OBC doesn't work
Range on OBC is off
overhead check: washer fluid, engine oil and colant lights are on.
no power to AC compressor

Any help in pointing me in a direction to start would be appreciated

I know I am of no use to this thread, but damn I miss that e30 :(

I even bought a 318iS last week... and ironically enough it IS a diamantschwarz car, repainted with the same gray kinda delphin look! This time I dug down deep with the P.O. to tell me when and why was the car repainted!! :p

But go figure.
