    Shift arm carrier

I've got an m52 w/zf trans sitting in my car, and then picked up a shifter assembly from an m3. According to real oem, the part numbers are the same for all the components of the 328 and m3 shifters.

I am converting the plater shifter of my 85 318, so will the shift arm support bearing from the late e30 325s fit properly onto the end of the shift arm of the zf shifter or is there something else that needs to be done. I tried searching but came up with nothing.

    e30 support bearing #8

Also, the shifter assembly i got did not come with 1,2,3,4 or 8 from the e36 diagram, I know about #8, but not having the parts on me, where does #3 attach too? (I haven't thrown out my old plate shifter incase something needs to be reused off of it) Thanks in advance

edit: i found the shift arm support assemblies on bimmer specialist, and the e36 one looks to be of the same design as the e30 325, so it should work, but can someone still confirm before i buy please? thanks

Im doing th exact same thing, I just ordered part #1 from an E36 and the UUC short shift kit. I also have the ZF tranny I belive/hope E30 part #8 will work with my e36 carrier. its on backorder so I wont get it for at least 2 weeks, so I can't confirm this.

Part #3 is a locking pin, it holds the front of the carrier to the transmission housing.
