when the ecu is sent to AAW for the ews deleted, the 2x rear O2 sensors. will this make the check engine light disappear to pass the smog?

I think your best bet would be to call them,

I went with bimmerworld and they said that my check engine light shouldn't light up but, I dont have it connected so I can't really comment on it.

    Just call them.

On my e46, I had the 2 post cat o2 sensors removed when I installed headers. I did it to remove the check engine light (which it did). In theory, you want the same thing to happen to your ecu, so if AA does it right, it will remove the CEL.

The software does not delete the check engine light. It just deletes the rear o2 sensors, EWS, etc... so the check engine does not come on for those reasons. The check engine light will still function normally except not being able to see those items.

exactly. By doing this, you should pass smog.
