e30 m50 tranny swap question??

How good does the getrag 240 work on m50 engine?
Also which driveshaft to use?
What is the the best flywheel to run on this?

tranny brace - stock e30
motor mount - E28 535i or M5

to run the 240 trans use a m20 single mass flywheel, m20 clutch, euro 323 to bearing.
For the brace you can use the 240 brace with the stock mounts.

Me too. The front part atleast, its stock 318is rear driveshaft.

This tranny swap isn't really covered in the comprehensive specM...
ASU started some really good threads when he was doing his swap, and there's a few threads that I started that info was in as well.
