3.25LSD or 2.93LSD - What do you recommend for daily driving?

So here's what I found. This info is based on the tranny that I'm running which is the Getrag 250.

    Site that I used:

Latest news coverage, email, free stock quotes, live scores and video are just the beginning. Discover more every day at Yahoo!

Gear Ratio's for the Getrag 250.

    1st: 4.23
    2nd: 2.52
    3rd: 1.66
    4th: 1.22
    5th: 1.00

    6500 rpm redline

    205/50 16 tires

    *5th Gear as reference gear*

    With 3.25 LSD:

    @ 65 - 2941 rpm
    @ 85 - 3853 rpm

    With 2.93 LSD:

    @ 65 - 2676 rpm
    @ 85 - 3471 rpm

The numbers a pretty accurate for the 3.25LSD...

What do you guys think? I would probably keep the 3.25 for fun but run a 2.93 for daily use.

I would keep the 3.25 all the time, never know when you are going to have to just up and blast out of the way of someone, LOL.

                  a 3.25/zf will be inline with a 4.10/g260. I daily a 4.10/g260 and im not a fan. My swap will have a 2.93, screw reving 3.6k to go 75.

i have a 3.25 diff with a zf320 right now. i do pretty much all my driving in the city, but when im on the highway i wish i had the 2.93. the car would be a bit slower but its already fast as hell, so i don't think it would bother me that much.

I think I might stick with the 3.25 for now. The tach is now accurate and the mileage is actually pretty good.

I'm getting nearly the same mileage I was getting in the 318is, but I have been abusing this thing :) I think the mileage will only get better when I drive it easy.

For reference with the 318is I would get about 250 miles on avg, that is combined city and hwy.

With the stroked m50 I went about 220 miles with lots of abuse...I'm impressed!

dude i live in brooklyn man...

on the weekends when i drove out to long island i would regularly see 290 miles to the tank.

oh, and i did mention that i went 220 miles to the tank WITH abuse :)

the mileage should definitely go up.

This has always surprised me, with all the stuff I've sent to you, that you actually have a car in brooklyn... Where do you go to play with your new motor?

                              long island.

i can't really open it up around here, the cops are on some serious smack down lately here...its crazy man.

on tuesday i counted 7 cops posted up waiting for someone to fly by, on the way home my boss told me there was an unmarked cop trying to race an accord, and another 5 or so hiding behind bushes!

some crazy shit is going down.
