A really stupid question, dipstick tube?

Well I was at the autoX a couple of weeks ago and my car started spraying MAD oil, the dipstick tube apparently got out of place, I had it zip tied down (i know i know..lol), but it seemed to be really in there.. so anyway as a temporary fix I just wrapped up some electrical tape around the oring and jammed it in there, and put 50 more zip ties.. i mean, it's working so far but i don't like the idea of electrical tape in there.. any suggestions?

    -Abe.

Replace said o-ring and re-secure the tube to the block?

Does the e34 dipstick tube sit on the s52 block? man, i'm gona look into that, i thought the dipstick tube got bolted up to the the s52 manifold, that changed though when I did the m50 manifold swap.

I had to take a small piece of flat bar and use that to get it to bolt to the intake brace. And it held it in place firmly.
