    Which Brake Booster???

Im gonna do the s52b32 swap in my car soon, just wandering about the brake booster..... i've read in a lot of threads which one to use but the reason im asking again is bcause here in South Africa the 3.2 ///M3 motor has ITB's and not the intake like the ones on the threads,...

will the brake booster from the e34 or IX clear the ITB's or the ITB plenum??

    Please help

The ix should clear the plenum. Do you have anyway of determining which one protrudes farther out? If the ITB plenum protrudes less than the m50 manifold then you should be fine.

Talk to user Mck, he's in australia doing the euro motor. I dunno if he's posted which he used in any of the threads. Otherwise I know its said over on e30zone.net, I believe its the mk3 golf one, but not positive so double check that before listening to me haha.

S50 B32, not S52B32. I, BTW, have a ZA spec Euro 3.2. Can't help you with your problem as I have manual brakes.

The ix boosters are the same as the e32 735i/750il brake boosters, they just come with a larger mc (25mm). Try looking for those cars if the ix's are hard to find.

Look to make sure that that booster will work. We know it works w/ the US motors, but no one that I know of has tried it w/ a euro motor. I've honestly never heard of them using the 735 booster on euro motors, so check before you buy. Just tryin to save you a few bucks of buyin something that may not work.

if i remember correctly neither of the above mentioned booster combinations will work on your engine if its like the euro spec ITB manifold. search for euro swaps. Mike B. (i believe) did it using manual brakes (cncbrakes.com)

The iX or E21 boosters typically used with US swaps will not work with a Euro swap unless you do some significant modifications to the pedal cluster and fire wall.

There are other options - http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...+brake+booster
