    what hp should i expect from an s52 with some mods?

    i was planning to install 24.5 lb injectors, 3.5 liter MAF, cold intake with k&n filter, obd1 intake manifold and a turner chip. since the engine comes with 240hp from the factory, would it be reasonable to expect 40hp increase or so with these mods? i see lots of threads talking about power upgrades, but haven't seen anything about actual gains.

                what if you got 100hp but you couldnt feel any difference? what if you got 1 hp but it felt like a totally different car?

                  S52 with the following.

                  Euro headers
                  SS race exhaust
                  Dinan CAI, low level sucks air from above the brake duct
                  Turner chip
                  3.5 maf
                  24lb injectors
                  LTW flywheel
                  UDP's
                  Fan delete

                  With the above on a dynojet I made
                  NA 238whp, 227trq.

                  Turboed it made 353whp, 345trq @ 7.5psi...

                  Add cams and it REALLY waked it up should crack into the high 260 low 275whp range with cams...

                  My 95 with a 3.38LSD was fast...

                  I'll probably do the mechanical lifter conversion on the 325/s50 car with cams and minor headwork, dual springs. Mechanical lifters work fine for street. They now make mechanical lifters with shim on bucket not the lash cap under bucket so adjusting them is as easy as an S14/S38 motor..
