WTB: DME from 95' M3

Posted in WTB but thought you guys might know where I can find one.

I need a DME from a 1995 BMW M3. Need's to have VIN sticker on case that will come up as 1995 with US S50B30. Thanks.

you just need the m3 chip. You can use any 413 DME

Already have a 413 I need one with a sticker with a VIN from a 1995 M3. For CA referee purposes yes. My 413 vin is from a 1993 325i.

Yes i am well aware they have the same PN, he needs the VIN to be smog/street legal here in CA. They usually just ask you for a vin and you give them something from a non OBD2 car. That really blows if they are looking for physical proof of the vin though. If you want you can just borrow my valve cover and tell them its an m50.

Valve cover is from a S50 so it looks an S50 but its an s52. Already went so now I have to stick to my story.

Pretty sure the DME doesn't have a VIN sticker on it.

Yes they do. I was suprised to see the 179 ecu I recently picked up for my m30 had a vin number stamped on it's side. I'll look tomorrow to see what car my 413 red ecu came from and if it's from 95 m3 you can borrow it.

The current red label dme that is running my car now is from a 1993 525it last seven of the vin gd22549

Found one local. I'll post my numbers from my smog. Think I'm going to have to switch out my 24lb injectors and 3.5 maf.
