    E34 M50 to M50 Vanos swap ~HELP!!!!!~

I have a 1991 BMW E34 that lost the Engine. I have just purchased an 1993 M50 2.8L Vanos motor with 10K miles on it. I have bought a brand new DME, 3.3.1 Harness from Treehouse racing for the E34 and a new Hot-film Mass Air Sensor and 3.3.1 sensors. Some one told me that I need to put the BMW on a sun-machine/ computer to hook up the sensors. What is the sun-machine about and is this all I need to do to finish getting it running? I am new to the whole engine swap thing.

    Thanks, Mike

You dont need the sun machine and I think he is talking about a scope. If its a 2.8L wouldnt it be a m52? I havent had one machine hooked up to my car and all I did was put the right sensors in the right place.
