Question is, can I use obdI coils with obdII valve cover ? If so how can I make them fit ? Can I cut off the 2 mounting tabs? Or should I just get an obdI valve cover ?

Obd1 coils shit fit no problem. You shouldn't have to do anything as there should be four mounting holes per coil.

Ya I'm going to have a shit fit soon ! No but really the obdII valve cover has only 2 mounting holes. And it will not let the coils sit all the way down because the 2 unused holes hit on plastic tabs from obdII valve cover. If this makes sense ? I think I will just cut the 2 unused mounting tabs off!sigpic I HATE SPEED BUMPS !!!!!Comment

If you are using an obd2 valve cover, you need to use obd2 coils, and vice-versa with obd1.sigpicComment

In the one pics it shows that the 2 holes will line up. In the other pic I am pointing to the plastic tab that keeps if from sitting all the way down. Now if I cut off the 2 coil mounting tabs I will not be using It will sit down ok.
