    My motor build

As most of you already know my motor took a shit because it was running lean.
I have collected some parts over the past few weeks. I finally got all the main parts to start all the machine work on the motor.

I got these beautys from the man in the big brown truck.

    Thats all, enjoy.

Will post more as more happens. Dont expect it to happen quick either.

oOo, I'm intrigued. Pistons? The suspense is killing me. Did you decide on higher compression w/ the ITB's rather than turbo? Was thinkin that's what you were leaning towards in the other thread.

S52 Crank and a fresh clean M50 head.
The rods and pistons are locked away in a box some place.

Well Fellas. The Block, Rods, Crank all went to the machine shop today. :pimp:

Will be ordering new piston rings, rod bolts, main bolts, and bearings from the dealer next week. All the machine work should be done and the bottom end will be together in about 2 weeks.

Total of labor, piston rings, rod bolts, main bolts, and bearings was right around 1000.00
This is with them putting the bottom end together.

Reason it cost so much is I got a 3 year warranty with it. If something happens to the bottom end they cover all cost of fixing it. :D

So I will post a few photos when I get it all back.

Yes it is. I got it for 200 shipped too and it came packed in that wood box and it was bubble wrapped and everything.
He had it sent to the machine shop to be cleanded and checked for cracks and to make sure it was within specs to get surfaced.

I got it from Bavarian Auto Recycling. I spoke with Nelson.
                  Good people and great prices.
The machine shop was very happy with both pieces from them.

thats the first positive thing i've read about bar in a long time. most of the time you just see trash talking about them and their prices. glad you had a good experience with them.
