You're right about few people having swaps. Even at r3v meets you get like 40 cars with M20's and only 2 or 5 with S/M5x's.
I don't doubt the 2JZGTE's potential, the weight worries me more than anything else. And I disagree with whoever said the M20 doesn't have as much potential as a 2JZ. It has more. The 2JZ already has forced induction and already is a powerhouse. You can take an M20 and boost it with turbo or supercharger or NOS and put out a hell of a lot of power. The 2JZ's potential is less because it comes pre-built.

and i dont think as many guys are swapped around here as you may think like e30s52 said. Sure there seems to be alot but thats cause this site is know for swaps.
If this goes thru i will give you props and be very impressed. It will probably be mean and if you put and equal amount of time into your suspension it will be real mean. So good luck.
but seriously if you want big power and a much easier swap go turbo m30! Thats huge numbers with no internal work and dirty dirty big numbers if you start building inside. Those motors workied can im sure handle more boost that you can make!
but thats just me and im a bit partial...
but seriously good luck and i really hope you see this one thru!

im gonna have to go with rwd on this one, jz's are alluminum.
you guys do realize that a twin turbo 2jzgte is going to have a shitload more potential than the M20, and probably more than the hallowed S50/52. jz's are are designed to be turbo'd, a twin turbo M20 would die a horrible death, and you would have to dump a bunch of money into the s50/52 to make it safe for those boost levels. with the jz he can just drop it in and lite em up. 2jz supras always win the horsepower challenges with 4 digit output
do something different, everyone has an m or s swap
